Our annual Chinese chicken salad sale at the Nikkei Matsuri Festival in San Jose was another great success.  We sold 989 bowls of salad and 198 bottles of water.  After all the bills were paid, the club netted $2336.  Alice and the Salad committee of David Tom, Charles Akers, Hi Fujii and Hoyt Nelson want to give a big round of applause to the following 57 volunteers who made this event happen with their 312 man hours of work: Alesh Jancarik, Alex Kami, Amy Tsuhako, Angela Cheung, Anna Fong, Armand Gutierez, Bev Lee, Brian Hess, Brian Lee, Carol Takeda, Curtis Otaguro, David Jensen, David Tsuhako, David Uyeda, Debbie Fong, Diane Mayeda, Dick Wong, Greg Wong, Haruko Nagaishi, Jane Yee, Janet Gee, Janet Sakauye, Jeanette Shinsako, Jim Tanaka, Joan Lathrop, Joe Feng, Joel Hayashida, Julie Mayeda,  Karen Soo, Kay Lee, Kim Shinjo, Lauren Shinjo, Morgan Hua, Rod Ngai, Ron Kaida, Sandie McGregor, Sarah Lowe, Sherman Fu, Sherry Yamamoto, Steve Nara and Stuart Lee.  I apologize to any who didn’t make it on Alice’s list.  In addition, we wish to thank the Mt.
