Long Trips

Every year the Nisei Ski Club goes on at least one long ski and snowboarding trip to destinations outside of the Tahoe ski areas. The following are the planned trips for the current ski and snowboarding season:

Special Deal: In addition to the discounted NSC member rates, NSC members get a non-transferable, $20 credit for a single 2011 NSC weekend ski bus trip.

The Nisei Ski Club charters 3-5 weekend bus trips every year to Tahoe. The buses depart two pick up points in the San Francisco Bay Area, San Jose and El Cerrito, and one pick up point in Sacramento. The trips depart on Friday evening returning on Sunday evening. We stay two nights at hotels in Reno and shuttle the group back and forth each day. On Sunday we depart directly from the ski area.

What’s included in the Weekend Ski Trip price?

  • Charter bus to hotel and ski resorts
  • Two night stay in a hotel, usually in a casino in Reno
  • 2 dinners on the bus, Friday and Sunday
  • 2 continental breakfasts on the bus, Saturday and Sunday
  • After ski drinks and snacks

What’s not included in the Weekend Ski Trip price?

  • Lift tickets, but as part of a group we qualify for discounted group rate lift tickets
  • Equipment rental & lessons, if you are a NSC member, you may qualify for a partial reimbursement of your lesson cost
  • Saturday’s and Sunday’s lunches at the ski resort, Saturday’s dinner
