The Nisei Ski Club (NSC) is a non-profit, year-round club open to adults age 21 and over, and based in the San Francisco/Oakland/San Jose bay area. NSC is affiliated with the Bay Area Snow Sports Council (BAC), Far West Ski Association (FWSA), and the National Ski Council Federation (NSCF). Due to the various member locations we do not have regular monthly membership meetings, but our monthly newsletter provides information for all our activities.

NSC provides year-round activities to keep you active:

— Winter Activities —

  • Domestic ski week (via NSC and BAC)
  • International ski week (via FWSA)

— Non-Winter Activities —

  • Annual Membership & Hawaiian Luau Picnic
  • Domestic and International travel
  • Pickle Ball instruction and play
  • Mahjong instruction and play
  • San Francisco Giants baseball games
  • Potluck luncheons and games
  • Bike rides and hikes
  • And more

Joining NSC is simple and easy. Yes, we use forms, but then who doesn’t. Membership is for one year, from 1 June to 31 May, and there are two types of memberships:

  • New Member Memberships
  • Renewal Memberships


New Member Memberships

For new members a paper copy of the Standard Membership Form is required, and submitted to the Membership Chairman.

Standard Membership forms can be sent:

  • Via USPS (paper copy) to the address on the membership form

Renewal Memberships

Returning members that have been a member in the last five years can use the Renewal Membership Form and submit a paper copy or soft copy to the Membership Chairman. If your contact information has changed then please use the Standard Membership form.
