NSC General Meeting & Pre-Season Party

This year our preseason event will feature a fun evening playing bunco.  Sandy McGregor, our former board member introduced the game to us and those who attended her event are now hooked on it.   It is really easy to learn and is very entertaining.  Bunco is a game of dice played in rounds.  Players take turns rolling the dice and trying to accumulate as many points as possible to win each round.  The game is played at tables of four in competing teams of two.   Prizes will be awarded at the end of the game.

BUNCO, anyone?   See www.buncorules.com/rules.html

As we waited for a few late comers to show up in the morning, the rest of the group was treated to coffee and breakfast. After a few introductions, group picture and reciting the rules of the road, we took off around 11:00am and single file rode together to our lunch stop that was 15 miles away. We didn’t see any mountain lions along the way but we did see a few squirrels scrambling in front of us and a few Bambi’s grazing in the bushes. Read the rest of this entry »
